| I Just Gotta Tell Somebody! Psalms 107:1 says: O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever. In church we sing the song, Lord you are good. However, words sometimes cannot describe the actual feeling of thanks that we have inside of us. And songs cannot emulate the actual praise that burns deep within us. This is most definitely one of those times for me. As everyone knows I had a severe auto accident on Halloween night 2006, which left me a mangled mess. With God’ s help and several surgeries later, I am almost to the point where I can walk again. But one problem still exists with my body. I have a non-union of my right femur bone. That is to say I have a break that refuses to heal. Doctors have already given up and have informed me that I have to have a really nasty surgery that replaces about ten inches of my bone including my knee joint with metal. This surgery is experimental and later on down the road I may lose total use of my right leg. That is if my body accepts it in the first place. That was mans way of thinking, and they were not considering the GOD factor. The entire church has been praying for my miracle. Thanks to everyone who bows their knees and calls out my name, I love you all for that, and cannot begin to say thanks enough. On Monday, February 23, 2009 in Supply North Carolina, God showed man who He is! After two and a half years and all the modern technology had failed, God shined through. The doctor informed me that the bone graft material that is in my thigh has begun to become more dense which is a definite sign that my bone is healing. Oh thank you Jesus, I am having to write this testimonial through tear blurred eyes, because I cannot begin to tell you guys how wonderful and loving my God is to me. I praise Him and I honor Him for all He does for me. He saved me from my sins, He saved me from death that night, and He continues to heal my body. That’s not even mentioning the wonderful wife He gave me, for saving one of my boys, and I believe the other is close behind, and blessing my finances in a way that only He could. The following testimonies are from two children. The first is that of a 7 year old precious child in our church named Hannah. The second is a 12 year old girl named Brittany. This is their testimonies in their "OWN" words! Hannah I was sick for a long time and I was very itchy and red. I could not have wheat or lots of other things. I felt very sick and sad. We went to church and prayed and we prayed at home too. I read my bible every night. God promised He would heal me. I went to lots of doctors too. God healed me and I feel better now. And now I can eat a lot more foods including wheat. Hannah Dennis Brittany I was sick for almost two years. I hurt very bad. I hurt in my chest and had problems eating. I would get choked very easily and it would be very scary. Me and my family prayed everyday, and asked God to heal me. My Dad anointed with oil, and the church prayed many times. We had to go many doctors and had many tests. I was taking lots of medicine. I was on eight different kinds of medicine. One day, after praying, my Mom took me off all the medication. I no longer choke or hurt, I am now healed in the name of the Lord! I want to thank the Lord for healing me! And my family for praying for me. God is good! Brittany Knight |
