He that believeth on me, as the
scripture hath said, out of his belly
shall flow rivers of living water.

PREPARING FOR THE RETURN OF CHRIST

How much longer can this old world survive? How will the world end? Will it end in a nuclear holocaust? Will we run out of natural
resources and die from shortages of fuel and food? Will we over populate the world and die of starvation and disease? Will we poison
ourselves to death by air, water and soil pollution? Will we eventually burn up because we've destroyed the ozone with hair spray
and air-conditioner Freon? (It is said that if the average temperature of the planet raises 5 degrees it can no longer sustain life.)
When will the world end--tonight, one week from now, or 10,000 years from now? Personally, I believe we are living in the finals
days, the closing pages of human history. I don't believe the world will end by natural disaster but by divine intervention. There are
1,845 references to the second coming of Jesus in the Old Testament and 318 references to His second coming in the New
Testament. I believe it will be very, very, very soon. Be prepared for Christ's return. Jesus said--John 14:3
And if I go and prepare a
place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also.
Praise His name, He is coming
soon!  Let us be ready!

WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT

A man stepped into a store to buy some things, then realized he left his car keys in the ignition. He also left his house keys on his
car keys. When he came back out, his car was gone. He muttered to himself about how terrible things were. The next morning
outside his house, there was his car sitting in the driveway with a note on it. The note said, “I was in a dire emergency. I’m very
sorry. I needed the use of your car and here are two tickets for the Dallas Cowboys game.” The man went back in the house and
told his wife, “Our car is returned. without a scratch. And look, we’ve got football tickets to a Dallas Cowboys game ” They went to
the game and when they came home their house had been cleaned out  When you least expect it. That’s when the Lord Jesus Christ
is going to come – as a thief in the night. We should watch for Him, We should be ready to go, We should be working. Luke 12:43
says,
Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes  (NKJV).  Must us be a ready bride!  Let us be ready
and prepared for Him when He returns.  We may think that we have plenty of time.  When the hearts of men fade..."Look up, the
Son of Man Cometh!".

NO ONE NOTICES

A farmer pulled his truck onto the scales at the grain elevator, then stepped out of the cab. Just as the scale operator was about to
take his reading, the farmer stepped quietly onto the scale, adding his weight to that of his crop. Believing that no one had seen
him, the farmer then emptied his truck and returned to the scale to retrieve his receipt. The scale operator noticing the farmer's sly
action, handed the receipt to the farmer and said,  You just sold yourself for $8.56.  Our character is always on display. Every day,
you and I are observed making dozens of choices, large and small. The public observes whether our actions match our words.
Character counts. Don't sell yourself short by compromising on the essentials of Godly character: honesty, integrity and faith.
Display strong character, whether you're under the spotlight or in the shadows, let character shine brightly. Doing the "right" thing
when nobody is watching.

WAKE UP

Napoleon once pointed to a map of China and said,  There lies a sleeping giant. If it ever wakes up, it will be unstoppable.  Today the
American church is a sleeping giant. Each Sunday, church pews are filled with members who are doing nothing with their faith
except  keeping  it. The designation  active  member in most churches simply means those who attend regularly and financially
support the church. Not much more is expected. But God has far greater expectations for you the believer. He expects you to use
your giftings and talents in ministry. If we can ever awaken and unleash the massive talent, resources and energy found in this local
church, NMBPHC will explode with growth at an unprecedented rate. I believe that the greatest need in our church is the release of
our members for ministry. Our commitment and key challenge is to position our church as a creative place that the expression of all
talents and abilities, not just singers, ushers and Sunday school teachers, but all areas of ministry would be equipped and employed
into ministry.  Let us prepare ourselves for ministry to impact the Kingdom!

Don't Quit Now!

Well here we are in the lazy, hazy, crazy, days of summer in North Myrtle Beach. Life is good and it’s tempting to want to just forget
about everything and kick back and relax.
There is nothing wrong with taking a vacation of course; the problems arise when we decide to take a little break from our
relationship with God as well. I have known far to many friends who decided to quit all involvement and take time off work to rest
and to “seek the Lord”, who wound up seeking the beach and falling away from faith in Christ. Even if you take a break, your
enemy will not say, “Oh time out on the spiritual battle, he’s having a little break so to attack now wouldn’t be fair.”  The enemy of
your soul does not fight fair! We need to ask ourselves as the weather heats up if we are still on track. Are you still on fire? Is there
passion in your walk with God? Your slack approach to things spiritual may have dire consequences. Have you been lazy in your
carrying out of a spiritual directive? Our God is worthy of a people who are passionate about living for Him. Have you every stopped
short of achieving real victory?
Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for in due season  we shall reap a harvest if we faint not.
Have you been faithfully serving God and waiting expectantly for an answer to prayer? Have you been seeking God in prayer and the
word? Have you been working in the ministry, loving and serving God’s people? Are you tired and on the verge of throwing in the
towel?
Don’t quit now!  Stir up the gift of God that is in you!  If you are at the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on!  God has a
plan.  Keep trusting Him and look unto the hills which come your help!  Do not quit now!

Blessings!

"It Is the Lord!"

Jesus said to her, 'Give Me a drink' (John 4:7). How many of us are expecting Jesus Christ to
quench our thirst when we should be satisfying him! We should be pouring out our lives, investing
our total beings, not drawing on Him to satisfy us. "You shall be witnesses to me..." (Acts 1:8). That
means lives of pure, uncompromising, and unrestrained devotion to the Lord Jesus, which will be
satisfying to him wherever He may send us.

Beware of anything that competes with your loyalty to Jesus Christ. The greatest competitor of true
devotion to Jesus is the service we do for Him. It is easier to serve than to pour out our lives
completely for Him. The goal of the call of God is His satisfaction, not simply that we should do
something
for Him. We are not sent to do battle for God, but to be used by God in his battles. Are
we more devoted to service than we are to Jesus Christ Himself?
